Chairman of the Yemeni Republican Party and Undersecretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Fisheries, Engineer Mohammed Ahmed Juzailan, received a thank-you message from Dr. Ahmed Obaid bin Daghr, First Deputy Chairman of the General People’s Congress (GPC) and Chairman of the National Coalition of Political Parties and Components, in response to the Republican Party’s congratulatory message marking the 44th anniversary of the GPC’s founding.
In the message, Bin Daghr, on his own behalf and on behalf of Presidential Leadership Council Chairman Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, Parliament Speaker Sheikh Sultan Al-Barakani, and the GPC leadership, expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to Engineer Juzailan and the leadership of the Republican Party for their warm and generous sentiments.
He affirmed that the shared goals and principles agreed upon by the GPC, the Republican Party, and the various political components supporting legitimacy within the National Coalition of Political Parties and Components strengthen national solidarity, noting that these same principles and objectives unite the national forces on the battlefronts confronting the Houthi theocratic coup.
Bin Daghr said: “Today, the GPC and the Republican Party stand in the same trench against the enemies of the homeland and the people,” stressing that this image reflects the sincerity and depth of their shared national commitment.
He stressed that the project of restoring the state and defeating the Houthi coup “remains a major and just national project,” bringing together shared aspirations for a Yemen free from subjugation, united and cohesive, with a Yemeni state extending across the entire national territory.
Bin Daghr also underscored the importance of joining efforts and complementing roles among all those committed to and defending the values, goals, and principles of the September, October, and May revolutions, expressing his appreciation for the sacrifices made by the Republican Party and other national political parties in pursuit of the same objectives for which the GPC continues to struggle.
