Eng. Mohammed Jazeelan, President of the Yemeni Republican Party, affirmed that the future of peace in Yemen depends on the Houthi militia abandoning violence, accepting the principles of peace, and renouncing its outdated Imamate project.
He stated:
"The future of peace depends on the Houthis embracing the path of peace and abandoning violence and their obsolete Imamate ideology. Yemen’s national consciousness will never allow rebels to rule under the myth of the divine right to govern—a doctrine that our people overthrew in the glorious September 26 Revolution."
