Mohammed Ahmed Jizlan, President of the Yemeni Republican Party and Undersecretary at the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Fisheries, sent a message of condolence and sympathy to Mr. Abdulrazzaq Ahmed Al-Hijri, Adviser to the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council and Acting Secretary-General of the Yemeni Congregation for Reform (Islah), following the death of his mother.
Engineer Jizlan expressed his sincere condolences to Mr. Al-Hijri, his brothers, and all members of his family, praying to Almighty God to envelop the deceased in His vast mercy and forgiveness and to grant her family patience and steadfastness.
Jizlan noted that the pain of loss is made even more difficult by the circumstances facing the family, particularly the continued abduction of the deceased's brother, Mr. Mohammed Ahmed Al-Hijri, who remains detained in the prisons of the Houthi terrorist militia, depriving him of his basic human right to bid farewell to his mother and share in his family's grief.
He stressed that the suffering endured by detainees goes beyond the deprivation of their freedom, extending to the denial of fundamental human and family rights. He called for an end to this suffering and for the release of all those arbitrarily abducted and detained.
The President of the Republican Party concluded his condolences by praying for mercy and forgiveness for the deceased, patience and solace for the Al-Hijri family, and an immediate end to the ordeal and freedom for Mohammed Ahmed Al-Hijri and all other detainees.
