The Supreme Council of the National Bloc of Political Parties and Components, chaired by Dr. Ahmed Obeid Bin Dagher, met on Saturday to review the outcomes of the meeting between the leaders of the political parties and components and Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi. The Council praised the positive outcomes of the meeting, emphasizing that they strengthen joint national action and political partnership in support of state institutions and their restoration.
The Council reaffirmed its support for the measures taken by the political leadership and the government to confront Houthi escalation and violations that serve the Iranian agenda. It also condemned Houthi attacks against civilians in the West Coast and Al-Dhalea Governorate, renewing its solidarity with the families of the victims and the injured.
The participants reiterated their support for the Arab Coalition led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, commending its brotherly positions and continued support for the Yemeni people and the Yemeni government.
The meeting stressed the importance of advancing the Southern-Southern dialogue process and expediting the formation of its preparatory committee, in a manner that contributes to addressing the Southern issue within a comprehensive national vision.
The Council called on all national forces to unite their ranks and strengthen national alignment in support of constitutional legitimacy in confronting the Houthi project and Iranian ambitions in Yemen. It also underscored the importance of continued coordination with the Presidency to build a unified national position capable of ending the coup, restoring the state, and achieving a just and comprehensive peace.
