Mohammed Ahmed Juzailan, Head of the Yemeni Republican Party and Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation and Fisheries, sent a congratulatory message to Dr. Abdulrahman Omar Al-Saqqaf, Secretary-General of the Yemeni Socialist Party, on the occasion of the party’s 48th founding anniversary, which coincides with the 63rd anniversary of the glorious October 14 Revolution.
Juzailan praised the Yemeni Socialist Party’s historic role in the country’s national movement, highlighting its association with the struggle against colonialism, the achievement of independence, and the declaration of Yemeni unity. He also noted the party’s contributions to governance, political pluralism, and political life, leaving its mark on pivotal stages in Yemen’s modern history.
He emphasized that the October Revolution embodies the Yemeni people’s determination to achieve freedom and independence and honors the sacrifices of generations who shaped major national transformations. Its legacy, he said, reinforces the responsibility of political forces to continue working toward restoring state institutions, upholding the republican system, and ending the coup carried out by the Iran-backed Houthi militias.
Juzailan also underscored the importance of strengthening solidarity among national political forces and coordinating their efforts to confront the coup, restore state institutions, and safeguard Yemen’s sovereignty and independent national decision-making, paving the way for a just and democratic state that fulfills the Yemeni people’s aspirations for freedom, dignity, and stability.
