The National Bloc of Political Parties and Components condemned the Houthi attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, which resulted in civilian casualties and injuries among people of various nationalities. The Bloc stressed that targeting civilian facilities constitutes a grave violation of international law and a direct threat to regional security.
The Bloc extended its sincere condolences to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, its leadership and people, as well as to the victims’ families and their respective countries, and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
It stated that targeting civilians exposes the conduct of the Iran-backed Houthi terrorist militias, which do not represent the Yemeni people but instead place them among the foremost victims of their actions.
The Bloc called for a decisive response to cripple the Houthi militia’s ability to threaten civilians and regional security, urging the international community to take firm, concrete action to put an end to these attacks.
