The Yemeni Republican Party welcomed the announcement by the friendly People\'s Republic of China of a new development grant to Yemen worth 15 million yuan (approximately USD 2.19 million), alongside a decision to grant comprehensive tariff exemptions for Yemeni products exported to Chinese markets.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the Party said that this initiative reflects the depth of Yemeni-Chinese relations and their long-standing history of cooperation and mutual understanding. It emphasized that the move represents important support for Yemen’s economic recovery and reconstruction efforts, while also opening promising opportunities for Yemeni products to access global markets.
The Yemeni Republican Party expressed its appreciation for China\'s supportive stance toward legitimacy and the Yemeni people, describing it as consistent and highly valued. The Party noted that such support reflects Beijing’s commitment to promoting stability, development, and opportunities for peace in Yemen.
The Party also expressed its aspiration to further strengthen bilateral relations and expand areas of economic and development cooperation between the two countries in a manner that serves the interests of both friendly peoples and contributes to a more stable and prosperous future for Yemen.
