The Yemeni Republican Party has strongly condemned the terrorist attacks targeting vital facilities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, carried out using explosive drones launched from Iraqi territory by Iran-backed militias, describing the assault as a blatant violation of international law and a direct threat to global energy security and the stability of the international economy.
In a statement issued on Monday, the party expressed its full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia—its leadership, government, and people—and reaffirmed its unwavering support for Saudi Arabia's legitimate right to defend its territory, critical infrastructure, and the safety of its citizens. The party stressed that the Kingdom's security constitutes a fundamental pillar of Arab national security.
The statement emphasized that the attacks launched from Iraq cannot be separated from the terrorist operations carried out by the Houthi militia from Yemeni territory, asserting that both groups are merely Iranian proxy militias directed by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as part of a unified project aimed at destabilizing the Arab region, spreading chaos, and advancing Tehran's expansionist agenda.
The Yemeni Republican Party further called on the international community and the United Nations Security Council to assume their legal and moral responsibilities by adopting firm and deterrent measures against the Iranian regime and its terrorist proxies across the region.
The party warned that continued international leniency toward Iran's cross-border terrorism, orchestrated from Tehran through its regional militias, will only embolden these groups and drive the region toward greater instability, threatening international peace, security, and global economic interests.
